CULTURAL DAY EVENT

At Dominion Spring International School (DSIS), Cultural Day is a vibrant celebration where pupils proudly showcase the rich diversity of Nigeria and beyond. We embrace cultures such as Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Efik, Ibibio, and many more, helping children appreciate the beauty of different traditions within a shared school community.

The event is filled with colour, joy, and creativity as pupils participate in traditional dressing, cultural dances, drama presentations, storytelling, language displays, music performances, and march past activities. Parents watch with pride while teachers guide and sometimes join in, making it a true family and community celebration. Upper Basic classes (Basic 3–6) take more active roles in performances and presentations, building confidence and public speaking skills.

Cultural Day at DSIS is more than an event — it is a meaningful experience that builds cultural pride, encourages creativity and expression, strengthens heritage awareness, and promotes healthy class competitions. It is a joyful reminder that while we come from different backgrounds, we learn, grow, and celebrate together as one school family.
